The ROCO Confidence Warranty
Clear coverage, matched to how your furniture is built.
Last updated: September 8, 2026
is made or prepared according to its agreed specifications and goes through ROCO’s quality-control process before dispatch.
Furniture is not made from one component. Solid wood, manufactured wood, foam, upholstery, hardware, mechanisms and finishes behave differently over time. That is why the ROCO Confidence Warranty does not rely on one vague warranty period for every part.
Instead, eligible ROCO furniture receives component-specific coverage of up to 2 years, based on how the product is built and what part of the furniture is affected.
The ROCO Promise: We stand behind our manufacturing and workmanship. If an eligible manufacturing, material or workmanship defect appears within the applicable warranty period, ROCO will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy under this policy.
The warranty applicable to a specific order may also be stated on its product page, quotation, invoice or written order confirmation. Where product-specific written coverage differs from this general schedule, the specific written terms confirmed for that order apply.
Coverage at a Glance
Warranty periods normally begin from the date of delivery unless different written terms were confirmed for the order.

24-Month Structural Confidence
Solid-Wood Furniture
Selected furniture where solid wood forms the principal structural or load-bearing construction receives 24 months of structural coverage.
This can include:
- principal structural frames
- fixed load-bearing joints
- structural rails and supports
- ROCO-manufactured structural legs or bases
- construction workmanship materially affecting stability or normal use.
Solid-wood decorative trim, veneer, legs or accents do not automatically make the complete product eligible for 24-month structural coverage.
Natural characteristics of wood are addressed separately below and are not automatically defects.

Manufactured Wood, MDF and Laminated Board
Furniture made primarily from MDF, laminated MDF, particleboard, chipboard or similar manufactured sheet materials receives 12 months of limited manufacturing and workmanship coverage.
Coverage may include verified defects involving:
- structural assembly carried out by ROCO
- fixed structural joints
- premature failure of ROCO assembly
- improperly installed structural panels
- manufacturing-related joint failure
- other verified workmanship defects attributable to ROCO.
Manufactured sheet materials are third-party manufactured products. ROCO controls the furniture design, cutting, assembly, joinery and finishing, but does not manufacture the underlying sheet itself.
Where a specific board, sheet or component carries a longer written manufacturer/supplier warranty, that additional supplier-backed coverage may apply when expressly stated on the product page, quotation, invoice or written order confirmation.
Keep manufactured wood dry
MDF, particleboard and laminated sheet products must be protected from water and excessive moisture.
Swelling, distortion or deterioration caused by:
- leaks
- damp walls or floors
- flooding
- standing water
- excessive humidity
- improper cleaning
- prolonged moisture exposure
is not normally considered a manufacturing defect unless ROCO determines that a covered manufacturing or sealing issue caused the problem.
Plywood and Mixed Structural Assemblies
Products using plywood, engineered sheets, solid wood, metal or mixed construction generally receive 12 months of structural manufacturing/workmanship coverage unless a different written product-specific warranty applies.
Decorative finishes, upholstery, hardware, glass, stone and mechanisms follow their own applicable component periods.
Foam Coverage
ROCO-supplied seating foam receives 12 months of coverage against verified abnormal material or manufacturing failure.
Examples of potentially covered foam failure
- abnormal permanent collapse
- foam crumbling or disintegration
- internal splitting or separation
- significant premature loss of seating support
- other verified premature material failure.
Foam naturally changes with use.
The following are not automatically defects:
- gradual softening
- normal body impressions
- minor differences between heavily and lightly used seats
- slight upholstery wrinkling
- personal preference for firmer or softer seating.
For an approved foam claim, ROCO will normally repair or replace the affected foam component, not automatically replace the entire sofa, chair or unaffected cushions.
Where premium foam carries separate written supplier-backed coverage, that coverage may apply when expressly confirmed for the order.
Hardware, Mechanisms and Electrical Components
The following generally receive 12 months of coverage against verified manufacturing or mechanical defects:
- drawer slides
- hinges
- handles
- locks and catches
- installed standard hardware
- springs
- webbing
- fixed seat supports
- manual rocker/recliner mechanisms
- adjustable mechanisms.
Minor loosening or adjustment that can be corrected through normal tightening or maintenance is normally treated as service rather than product failure.
Electrical motors, switches, charging ports, lighting, wiring or control units are covered for up to 12 months or according to the applicable written supplier warranty, where confirmed.
Upholstery, Leather and Stitching
Stitching and Upholstery Workmanship — 12 Months
ROCO upholstery workmanship receives 12 months of coverage against verified workmanship defects such as premature seam separation or improperly secured upholstery.
Fabric, Genuine Leather and Leatherette — 6 Months
ROCO-supplied upholstery materials receive 6 months of coverage against verified manufacturing or material defects.
This is not coverage against normal wear.
Examples that are not automatically defects include:
- normal creasing
- expected stretching
- normal textile pilling
- gradual colour change or fading
- staining
- damage from pets or sharp objects
- damage from unsuitable cleaners
- leather patina
- natural scars, grain variation or wrinkles in genuine leather.
Where customers provide their own upholstery material, ROCO does not warrant the inherent quality or durability of that material. ROCO’s installation/stitching workmanship remains covered according to the applicable workmanship period.
Paint, Polish, Laminate, Veneer and Finishes
ROCO-applied or supplied indoor finishes receive 6 months of coverage against verified manufacturing/workmanship defects such as:
- abnormal premature peeling
- adhesion failure
- laminate or veneer lifting caused by production
- premature cracking caused by incorrect application.
The warranty does not cover normal scratches, impact damage, water marks, chemical damage, sunlight-related ageing or damage caused by unsuitable maintenance.
Outdoor Furniture
Furniture expressly sold by ROCO for outdoor use receives:
|
Component |
Coverage |
|---|---|
|
Principal frame and structural joinery |
12 months |
|
Outdoor rope / weave |
6 months |
|
Outdoor cushions and covers |
6 months |
|
Applied outdoor finish |
6 months |
|
Outdoor hardware |
6 months |
Outdoor furniture is designed for outdoor use, but no material remains unchanged under unlimited environmental exposure.
Damage caused by continuous standing water, extreme environmental conditions, improper storage, prolonged untreated moisture exposure or unsuitable care is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.
Outdoor cushions should be stored clean and dry when not in use for extended periods.
Glass, Mirror, Marble and Stone
Glass, mirrors, marble and natural-stone components should be inspected at delivery.
Please report visible:
- cracks
- chips
- breakage
- major surface defects
- incorrect components
within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photographs or video.
Natural stone can show veining, texture differences, pores, mineral marks and shade variation. These characteristics are not automatically defects.
Delivery and Installation Inspection
A timely inspection makes delivery issues easier to verify and resolve.

These are initial inspection/reporting windows, not the full warranty period.
Hidden manufacturing defects can still be reported during the applicable 6-, 12- or 24-month warranty period.
Customized and Made-to-Order Furniture
Made-to-order or customized furniture remains eligible for the applicable ROCO Confidence Warranty based on its construction and components.
However, warranty coverage does not normally apply to matters such as:
- customer-approved dimensions later proving unsuitable for the intended space
- preference changes after production
- customer-approved colour/fabric/finish selections
- natural material variation
- reasonable differences between screen/sample appearance and finished material;
- approved manufacturing tolerances
- changes requested after specifications were approved.
A customization does not remove warranty protection for a genuine covered manufacturing defect.
Commercial, Hospitality and High-Use Furniture
Furniture supplied for offices, restaurants, hospitality, institutional, rental, public-facing or other high-use commercial environments may carry different warranty coverage based on expected usage and product construction.
The applicable commercial/project warranty should be stated on the quotation, invoice, contract or written order confirmation.
Where no separate commercial warranty has been agreed, ROCO will review the applicable written order terms and intended usage when assessing a claim.
Supplier-Backed Components
Some third-party materials or components may carry their own written manufacturer or supplier warranties.
This can include selected:
- boards/sheet materials
- hardware
- mechanisms
- electrical components
- foam
- accessories.
Where a longer supplier-backed warranty applies, ROCO may assist with the claim where reasonably possible. Such coverage only applies where the supplier warranty is documented and expressly applicable to the product/component concerned.
Supplier-backed coverage does not automatically extend ROCO’s own standard warranty to unrelated components.
Natural Material Characteristics
Natural materials are not perfectly uniform.
Natural Wood
Normal characteristics can include:
- grain variation
- knots and mineral marks
- colour/texture differences
- minor differences between matching pieces
- natural expansion/contraction
- gradual colour change with age or sunlight.
Genuine Leather
Normal characteristics can include:
- natural scars
- grain variation
- wrinkles and creases
- shade differences
- variation between hides
- natural patina over time.
Marble and Stone
Normal characteristics can include:
- veining
- colour differences
- natural pores
- mineral marks
- variation between slabs.
ROCO will assess whether a reported condition represents a natural characteristic or a genuine manufacturing/material defect.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The ROCO Confidence Warranty does not normally cover damage resulting from:
Normal Use and Ageing
Ordinary wear and tear, gradual ageing, minor scratches or marks, normal upholstery wrinkling, normal fabric behaviour, gradual foam softening, natural fading or normal adjustment/loosening.
Environment and Moisture
Water leakage, damp walls/floors, flooding, excessive humidity, standing water, unsuitable ventilation, mould, mildew, extreme heat, prolonged direct sunlight or other unsuitable environmental exposure.
Pests
Termites, wood borers, rodents or other pests originating from the customer’s property/environment.
Improper Use or Handling
Dragging furniture, incorrect lifting or relocation, overloading, jumping, standing/sitting on furniture not designed for that purpose, severe uneven loading or use outside its intended purpose.
Accidental or External Damage
Impact, fire, flood, theft, building damage, falling objects, damage caused by children/pets, movers, couriers or third-party service providers after delivery.
Improper Cleaning or Treatment
Harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning, excessive water, bleach, acetone, thinner, unsuitable steam cleaning, or customer-applied coatings/treatments that damage the product.
Unauthorized Modification or Repair
Drilling, cutting, structural modification, unauthorized dismantling/reassembly, third-party repair, electrical alteration or replacement of original hardware without ROCO’s approval.
An unauthorized alteration should only affect warranty coverage for the altered component or connected damage where reasonably applicable.
Making a Warranty Claim
Contact ROCO through WhatsApp or email and provide, where available:
- invoice or order number
- registered phone number
- product name
- delivery location
- description of the issue
- photographs of the full product and affected area
- video where movement, noise or mechanism failure is involved
- photograph of the ROCO QC label where available
- approximate date the issue was first noticed.
WhatsApp: +92 317 6965610
Email: info@roco.pk
The absence of a QC label does not automatically invalidate a claim where ROCO can independently verify the order.
How We Assess a Claim
ROCO normally acknowledges a complete warranty request within three business days.
Assessment may involve:
- photographs/video
- remote troubleshooting
- additional information
- physical inspection
- workshop examination.
An initial response does not constitute claim approval.
A warranty claim is approved after ROCO confirms that:
- the order can be verified;
- the applicable warranty period remains active;
- the affected component is covered;
- the issue resulted from an eligible manufacturing, material or workmanship defect; and
- an applicable exclusion did not cause or materially contribute to the problem.
Warranty Remedies
ROCO follows a repair-first and affected-component-first approach.
Depending on the issue, an approved remedy may include:
- adjustment
- on-site repair
- workshop repair
- replacement of the affected hardware/component
- replacement of affected foam
- equivalent component replacement
- full product replacement where repair is not reasonably practical.
A warranty claim does not automatically provide a cash refund or complete product replacement where the defect can reasonably be corrected.
Where the original colour, material or component is no longer available, ROCO may use the closest reasonable equivalent.
Service, Collection and Transportation
For an approved warranty claim, ROCO covers the repair or replacement of the warranted component itself.
Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed at or shortly after delivery, ROCO may also cover reasonable service/transport costs.
For later claims, remote locations, workshop servicing or cases where no covered defect is found, transportation or visit charges may apply.
Any applicable charge will be communicated before service is arranged.
Please do not dispatch furniture to ROCO or arrange third-party repair/dismantling without written instructions from us.
Coverage After Repair or Replacement
A warranty repair or replacement does not restart the full original warranty.
The repaired/replaced component remains covered for:
the remainder of its original applicable warranty period, or 90 days from completion of the approved warranty service — whichever is longer.
A complete replacement product does not automatically create a new full warranty period unless ROCO confirms different terms in writing.
Continued ROCO Support
Our support does not have to end when free warranty coverage does.
After the applicable warranty period expires, ROCO may continue to assist with:
- repairs
- replacement components
- adjustments
- refinishing
- refurbishment
- maintenance support
where technically and commercially feasible.
Charges for parts, labour, transport or service may apply and will be communicated before work begins.
Continued ROCO Support is an after-sales service and is not an extension of free warranty coverage.
Existing Orders and Previous Warranty Terms
This updated policy applies to eligible orders confirmed on or after its effective date.
Orders confirmed before that date remain subject to the warranty terms that applied or were specifically confirmed when the order was placed, including applicable terms shown on the customer’s:
- product information
- quotation
- invoice
- contract
- written order confirmation
- warranty policy applicable at that time.
A later website update does not automatically reduce warranty terms already confirmed for an existing customer.
Product-Specific and Order-Specific Coverage
Where the product page, quotation, invoice, contract or written order confirmation clearly states a different warranty for a particular product or component, that more specific written coverage forms part of the order terms.
This allows ROCO to appropriately support:
- supplier-backed components
- special materials
- commercial/project orders
- special product categories
- explicitly upgraded warranty coverage.
Policy Updates
ROCO may update the ROCO Confidence Warranty for future orders to reflect changes in materials, suppliers, manufacturing methods, products, service processes or applicable legal requirements.
The current version and update date will remain displayed on this page.
Updates do not automatically reduce warranty coverage already confirmed for an existing order.
Furniture made with care. Coverage explained with the same honesty.
The ROCO Confidence Warranty is designed to make one thing clear: what we stand behind, for how long, and what happens if something genuinely goes wrong.
